There is no better place in town will you find this rumbling and tumbling played out than on her freeways and streets. There are good people in LA, but like the prophet Abraham, you will be hard pressed to find JUST ONE if you travel up and down the tight avenues of the second largest metropolis in the USA.

Frustration and selfishness is on full display during rush hour in the driving habits of the people and it can be very contagious. So my advise to you from experience with Ubereats delivering is to grow some thick skin, and commit to IMPROVE YOURSELF physiclly, spiritually and emotionally in order to become a part of the solution instead of the problem as you buckle up for your journey as an Ubereats Delivery driver. With a little discipline and a solid game plan you may find this hole in the marketplace gig very rewarding.

Okay with that said, if I could take you by the hand, here would be my top 7 tips on how to earn more money than the average bear at the end of each day as an Ubereats Delivery driver and make it back home safely to your loved ones.  Congratulations on your choice and here is to your success! 1. Analyze the Order First Before Accepting

Look at the total mileage and take orders within a comfortable distance from your ideal location.

Customers can easily get irate when hungry which can hurt your tip. I find abc7.com freeway traffic data instrumental in checking highway conditions and will select alternate routes or a side street if necessary.

2. Time Is Money

They pay the delivery drivers bonuses for delivering during peak hours. This perk can result in a higher cash flow.

Use the Earnings Forecast tool that they provide in the app on the night before you work and study the bar graph to detect peak hours in a given sector of your area. I have found this extremely useful for my success.

3. Black Clouds = Green $$$$

Bad weather equals a Good opportunity for delivery drivers to make more money because people tend to stay at home and off the street.

4. Care For Food Like It Is A New Born Baby .

Master the art of storing the food and drinks in your car. Take pride in the delivery process up to and thru the handout to the customer. They are likely watching you and need a good reason to give you a fat tip.

Baskets and insulated food bags are popular in ensuring an ideal and safe delivery. Especially during warm temperatures and the rush hours.

5. Serving Your Customers

Communicate with your customer in a friendly way.  Making a personal connection sets you apart. If delayed in any way, send them a text message or call and keep them updated. Using their name when talking or texting will win their hearts but don’t over do it. Be patient and understanding at all costs and watch out for the big fat tip.

Following the Golden Rule makes this job easier.

6. Double Check The Right Address

Your almost at the drop off location. Have your phone light or flashlight handy to check the curbside for the correct address during dark hours or when foggy. Call the customer if confused if necessary to avoid leaving food at the wrong location. Be aware of the difference between 118th St, 118th Pl and 118th Dr because all three of these different streets may have the same house number on them.

7. Cancel That Order If Necessary

Excessive wait times at the drive thru line after hours or the restaurant process maybe running behind or abnormally slow during the day. Know when to let it go. Again timing is important to your bottom line.Â
